Easy Popovers

Have you ever had a whole dinner planned, but forgot to buy a loaf of bread!  Well, here is the solution! Beautiful Popovers that might just steal the show!

2 eggs
1 cup + 2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 cup whole milk or 2% milk
dash of salt

Method:

1) Preheat oven to 425! Spray pan with nonstick spray (very important)! Mix the above ingredients together by hand, do not over mix. Pour ingredients into a popover pan.  Only fill the individual cups half way up or you will have a mess.

2)  Next place pan in the preheated oven and bake at 425 for 15 minutes.  Then without opening the oven door turn the temperature down to 350 and bake another 15 minutes until the tops of popovers are a little light brown in color.

3) Serve the popover at once with plain butter and variety honeys, or a homemade flavored butter (my kids love strawberry butter)!

  1. I made these and they are wonderful and so easy! I just have to plan in advance and get them going early since they take 30 min to bake.

  2. Yes these do take 30 minutes to bake! 15 minutes on a higher temp. then lower for 15 minutes. However, I think they take me about 3 minutes to put together! Easy, Easy, Easy! Enjoy
